Thank you for visiting my web site and I hope you like the pictures. I like to photograph a wedding in a natural and unobtrusive way. Primarily I like to keep things simple and not make a fuss. I find people really appreciate this. I started to photograph weddings around the same time that I began to work with newspapers. With the New York Times for 7 years before returning to Dublin. I brought that documentary approach to my wedding photography. It makes the bride and groom feel comfortable. People look at their very best when they are relaxed. I do not like to impose myself on the day so apart from the portrait session, which I also keep natural looking, I think people usually do not notice me.

My style is particularly suited to people who do not like having their photograph taken. I find that most people who hire me do not really like having their picture taken but they end up actually enjoying the experience by the approach I take. Ironically I do not like having my photograph taken myself so I understand completely how they feel.

When I photograph a couple naturally, taking a nice walk through Dublin or the wedding venue, it is a very happy memory for them. I think that is what is all about, making the picture taking process a memorable and fun experience.

I am very unassuming, people say they naturally feel comfortable in my presence so that makes the pictures even better.
