Anglers Rest Wedding
It is always a pleasure to photograph an Anglers Rest wedding. If you are looking for an alternative wedding venue in Dublin this is perfect. It’s picturesque location next to the banks of the Liffey at the Strawberry Beds makes it a more relaxed venue near the city. Just minutes from Dublin City but it has a countryside feel to it. The Phoenix Park is also just up the road for additional beautiful backdrops for your wedding photographs.
I like to photograph a wedding in a natural and unobtrusive way. This is why Sarah and Colm choose me to photograph their wedding. They did not normally like having their photograph taken. So my style was perfect for them.
I do not like having my photograph taken myself so I know how people feel. That said couples always say how much they actually enjoyed the process which was a surprise to them.
I feel brides look at their most beautiful on their wedding day when you leave them alone and do not pose the. Guests also enjoy the day more if you cover a wedding unobtrusively.
Even in smaller venues I have a way of blending into the background so people do not really notice me. So I can capture the atmosphere of the day without intruding on it.
There was a beautiful, personal and unique wedding ceremony in the Collins Room.
The grand piano and fireplace in the fireplace in the Salmon room are a lovely backdrop for family pictures. I always keep these as natural and relaxed as possible.
The Phoenix Room with it’s stone walls, chic gold chairs and elegant hanging chandeliers is a beautiful setting for a wedding reception. It’s rustic charm is always a lovely backdrop for pictures. I have been a guest at weddings there myself and I can attest that the food is delicious. There is also a lovely ambience to the place.
Most importantly Sarah and Colm were delighted with their wedding photographs. They thought that they looked beautiful and very natural. This is always one of the most rewarding part of wedding photography for me.
