Say “I do” at a Dublin Zoo Wedding

A Dublin Zoo wedding will be an unforgettable day for you both and your guests. What a lovely thing to do, getting married at the Zoo. If you are looking for a unique wedding venue in Dublin, the Zoo is a beautiful backdrop for your wedding day.

Dublin Zoo, opened in 1831, is one of the world’s oldest and most popular zoos.

The unusual setting also makes for wonderful picture opportunities for you wedding day.

Haughton House, a restored historical building with sweeping views of the Zoo is a beautiful setting for your wedding ceremony. Available 7 days a week for all types of wedding ceremonies.

After your wedding ceremony, Haughton House also makes for great backdrop for the group photograph of you wedding guests.

I have been photographing weddings for over 15 years and I bring a natural, artistic, calm and down to earth approach to your wedding day.

I like to keep things simple and not make a fuss which brides have always appreciated. My approach is also perfect for people who do not like having their photograph taken. The majority of couples who choose my services do not but they always say they actually ended up enjoying the experience.

In order to make the pictures as natural and easy as possible I bring the couple for a walk around the venue. This makes them feel like they are taking a nice walk after being married and not posing for wedding photographs.

I had the pleasure of photographing Ruth and Ronald’s wedding at the Zoo. The grounds of the Zoo provided beautiful backdrops for Ruth and Ronald’s wedding photographs particularly the Historic Roberts house and Haughton House.

I photographed the majority of Ruth and Ronald’s Dublin Zoo wedding in a natural and unobtrusive way. I feel brides look at their most beautiful if they are left alone and not heavily posed. Everyone can enjoy their day more if they do not have to worry about posing for photographs.

After a beautiful ceremony in the Haughton House we set off for a walk around the surrounding Zoo area for wedding pictures. Ruth and Ronald felt like they were taking a nice walk through the Zoo and not posing for wedding pictures. What a lovely thing to do after getting married.

It was then on to The Anglers Rest for the reception. It’s rustic charm is always a lovely backdrop for pictures. I have been a guest at weddings there myself and the food is delicious. There is also a lovely ambience to the place.

Ruth and Ronald were delighted with their wedding photographs. They thought that they looked beautiful and very natural. This is always one of the most rewarding part of wedding photography for me.
