MoLI Wedding
This was my first Moli wedding. So I was delighted when Deirdre and Michael asked me to photograph their day. I love the Moli Museum, so I thought it would be really interesting to photograph a weddings in the Museum Of Literature Ireland.
For city center weddings, I always strive to incorporate a sense of Dublin into the photographs. The stunning backdrop of Moli and the nearby St. Stephen’s Green provide the perfect setting for capturing beautiful wedding moments. It truly is one of the most exquisite venues in the heart of Dublin for a wedding.
The Wedding Venue
The Old Physics Theatre is where wedding ceremonies are held, with a private entrance for your wedding guests located at No. 85 St Stephen’s Green. Inside, you’ll find hand-made wallpaper, a magnificent chandelier, and beautiful high arched windows that overlook the gardens, flooding the room with natural light. Additionally, the adjoining Saloon is available for your drinks reception, showcasing one of the most spectacular Georgian interiors in Dublin.
My Creative Approach
In an effort to maintain a natural appearance, I strive to make my photographs as unobtrusive as possible. Following a beautiful ceremony in the Old Physics Theatre, we ventured outside to capture some images in the gardens. Unfortunately, the rain began to fall, limiting our time for outdoor photography. Thankfully, the interiors of MoLi provided us with numerous stunning backdrops. Once we finished taking family pictures indoors, we made our way to BANG Restaurant. Fortunately, the rain had ceased, allowing us to stroll through St. Stephen’s Green and capture more memorable wedding photos.
